Buddy, Laundry Day & Reading Stuff

Today we woke up to snow again although I have no pictures and it snowed almost all day. Thankfully it’s warm enough that it was pretty much melting as it landed but still. How I long to spend days outside reading on my bench. I know they’re coming—I’m just wondering when. lol.
So, instead I tackled some laundry. Now Buddy loves laundry and not the clean stuff so much. He’s weird that way although he does love a nice, warm pile of it on the bed. Anyhow, this first pic he had gotten a hold of a few facecloths but that wasn’t good enough and he’s looking at me for more…
So, this is what happens when I start separating laundry. He pulls it all out of the baskets and drags it around the laundry room and rubs himself in it up one side and down the other. It’s so cute that I should really attempt a video one day. I have to leave the laundry up high too where he isn’t as liable to see it because he cries if he does.
So, what’s up for reading this week. I’m just starting The Red Leather Diary for a Book Club Girl chat on Wednesday. I think that’s going to be a fast read. I’ve also got Frenchman’s Creek to start and a few others. I’ve got a few reviews to write tonight so I’d better get to it. I hope you all have a wonderful week!

Too cute. Cooper loves to play with my laundry baskets. I chase him around the house with the baskets and he runs, jumps and barks at them. Our own variation of tag!

Awww, thanks everyone! Buddy is going to be 7 yrs old this May. I can’t believe how fast the time has gone. It seems like just yesterday he was this little 2 lb ball of fur in my hand.
He’s so precious! My dog LOVES warm clothes from the dryer too! Once she hears the dryer door close you better watch out cause she’s waiting! She’ll lay in the pile for a long time, then come out panting like a dork! Too funny!
Oh how adorable! Jack does the same thing…he LOVES socks! No matter how hard I try to keep it up and away from him, he still finds a way to get it! He’s destructive, though..I’ve found several pieces of laundry with nice little holes in them!

Jenn, I try at all lengths to keep socks away from Buddy. The trouble is he doesn’t like the clean ones, only the dirty ones. Eeeeeeeeuck! When Buddy was younger and his teeth were sharp I would find little holes in things too. lol.

Tee Hee! My pooch does the same thing (if we let her). She often steals gloves from the bottom of the closet and very quiet, slinks away with it. And, if there are socks around – they aren’t for long!
Buddy is adorable. Now that I think of it, The Girl’s most cherished stuffed animal from when she was a baby is named Buddy.

Oh my gosh, that is too funny! Trying to do laundry with Buddy around is like picking up after my kids—a never ending story, lol.
What is it with dogs and laundry anyway? My dog Angie gets so excited when she sees me heading outside to hang clothes. She’ll stay under that line all day if there’s laundry drying in the wind.

Yes! I hope you’ll post a video. Buddy is way too cute and I think it’s adorable when our little furbabies are doing things they shouldn’t but still look so cute doing them.
Hope you warm up soon, Dar. I don’t know how you do it–cold makes my body hurt!! Although we’ve already hit 90+ here–hope that’s not a sign of a wretchedly hot summer.
