Hours 7&8: Read-a-Thon Progress

Well Buddy and I went for a walk, almost got blown away but managed to make it back. Shortly thereafter he decided he’d had enough of this reading and he was going to make his displeasure a little more apparant. Here is a picture of him and in it he is practically under my elbow which is why his head looks so big-lol. This is his I’m ticked off now look and I’m going to become a royal pain in the butt to get your attention look.
That didn’t work so well so he proceeded to the floor and stared and did his cute little whining thing. As you can see he really needs to be brushed. I can always threaten him with that if he doesn’t quit bugging me. lol~It always works for a while. Anyhow, the whining worked a little better. I went and took him outside again, fed him and then he came and curled up with me again. He currently has his head hanging off the side of the bed.
p.s. Don’t mind the mess behind Buddy. lol.

Well I’ve decided to take Trish’s advice and just have fun. It’s clearly not going to be about how much I read today so I’m accepting that. I’m going to visit a bit and then read some more.
I’m still working on Mistress of the Sun and will probably stick with it some more. It’s good. Ok, off to do some visiting.

your dog is so cute! mine is not very happy with me either right now. he feels ignored (I guess sitting on my lap all morning isn’t enough lol) he is sitting outside whatever room i am currently in, whining at me. who do you think the boss around here is? ;D

I love your Buddy posts! I am sort of losing track of pages read. Sort of doesn’t seem important to me. The joy of reading is enough but for the rest of today I am going to try and track it and then next time I may skip that part.
It's definitely all about the fun. You should have gotten a book for Buddy – maybe Marley & Me?

I love your dog…he’s adorable…though I suspect he’s like mine…he knows it and uses it to his advantage!
I met my goals for read-a-thon…i finished the book I need to review on Tuesday and I had fun…that was the most important thing.
I think its a good perspective to have.

I did have fun even though I didn’t get a lot read. I did a lot of visiting and that was fun too.
