Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading and it asks us to…
- Grab your current read
- Open to a random page
- Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
- BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
- Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
Here’s my teaser sentences (yes there is more than 2 but they are short and this just wouldn’t sound as good without them)…
- ‘He’s wrong. This isn’t living. She’s alive, but that’s all. Spiders are alive. Worms are alive. The crud growing underneath the sink is alive. She was supposed to drown. She wanted to drown. She’d had it all planned.’ (pg 93, ARC copy of Sea Changes by Gail Graham)
Sounds good, doesn’t it! I’ve only just started this book but check back on Friday for my review.
