Good morning everyone. I hope everyone is doing well this fine Sunday morning. Not much going on here today—just a nice quiet day celebrating Father’s Day with my Dad. As you can see from the picture here Buddy was being very helpful in assisting pops in opening up his card. If Buddy can’t be part of the action, then there is no action. lol.
I thought I’d share another photo of Buddy after his haircut. I groomed him the other day. I don’t do a great job but he will not go to a groomer’s since he had a bad experience as a puppy so now it’s just mom and him. It’s usually a bit of a battle but I usually kind of win and he comes out not too bad. So, I thought I’d post a before and after. I really love when he’s nice and fuzzy but it’s not comfortable for him in the summer. I was trying to get him to do something funny but he was having none of it this morning. lol. Stubborn little guy when he wants to be. Isn’t it hilarious how long his legs seem after I cut off all the hair. I always get a kick out of that.
Other than that I’m going to finish up Rude Awakenings of Jane Austen Addict by Laurie Viera Rigler today and I’ll start Beach Trip later on for a TLC tour I’m doing on June 26. Dad has ordered MacDonald’s for supper so that’s easy enough.
Happy Father’s Day to all the Dads out there! What’s everyone else up to today?
Father's Day is in November here, so no celebrations of that kind. but it's Midsummer here so 3 day weekend since it was Midsummer's Eve on Friday. This weekend was spent with family too then

It sounds like you have a nice Father's Day planned for your father. My dad lives a good distance away from me and so I won't get to see him–as it is, he's out of town with my mom which is all the better.
I hope to take it easy today. Hopefully get a little reading done. I have a tour coming up on Friday and have barely started the book. Need to get cracking.

Buddy is one handsome pup! I grew up with black miniature poodles and have found small black dogs irresistible ever since. Hope you all had a Happy Father's Day!
