October Read-a-Thon

Well I’ve decided to sign up for the October Read-a-Thon taking place on October 24 as a reader. If something goes wonky by then with the dog or anything else then obviously I’ll bow out but for now I’m going for it. I had fun last year although I didn’t end up reading as much as I could have because I got hit with a migraine. Still it’s fun to try and to visit all your friend’s blogs that are reading along. It’s a really great community event.
Want to find out what the read-a-thon is all about? Head on over to the Read-a-thon website to read all about it and sign up to be a reader or cheerleader or both if you can handle it. I really enjoy taking breaks to visit other blogs to see how they’re doing.
I haven’t picked out books yet although I know for sure I’ll be checking out my bookshelf for maybe some shorter books. Last time around I read books I needed to read for commitments but this time the only commitment I’ll have at the time of the month is Pendragon’s Banner and I will probably read a bit of it. Once I get my list together I’ll post it.

My daughter and I were on it, until I realized that I'd booked my all girls' cruise at the same time. Sigh. Maybe in the spring?

Good luck with the readathon. I know I won't be able to participate as I am out most of the day with the girls.
This sounds so much fun!! One of these times I will get to sign up, don't think it will work with the two young'uns, lol. 24 hours of reading sounds so blissful!! Enjoy!

I'm still on the fence about joining read-a-thon…probably because October is a busy month for me…but maybe I will do some cheerleading.
