Waiting on Wednesday (Oct. 7)

October 7th, 2009

Waiting On” Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we’re eagerly anticipating.
This week my selection is Knit the Season by Kate Jacobs which will be released November 3, 2009 by Putnam . I’ve read Friday Night Knitting Club and Knit Two and this is a continuation so I’d love to get back and visit more with all the wonderful folks in this series.

Here’s a bit about the book from Amazon.com

Knit the Season is a loving, moving, laugh-out-loud celebration of special times with friends and family. The story begins a year after the end of Knit Two, with Dakota Walker’s trip to spend the Christmas holidays with her Gran in Scotland-accompanied by her father, her grandparents, and her mother’s best friend, Catherine. Together, they share a trove of happy memories about Christmases past with Dakota’s mom, Georgia Walker-from Georgia’s childhood to her blissful time as a doting new mom. From Thanksgiving through Hanukkah and Christmas to New Year’s, Knit the Season is a novel about the richness of family bonds and the joys of friendship.

I can’t wait to read it! This has been a favorite series of mine from the beginning and I think a Christmas theme will be wonderful. Check out Kate Jacob’s website and join her Facebook Fan Club Page as well. So, how about you? Anything you’re anxiously waiting to read?

Thanks for posting about this book Dar!
