War Through the Generations Wrap Up

December 30th, 2009

And yet another challenge I failed miserably yet – at least I’m admitting to my failures. lol. This great challenge was hosted by Anna at Diary of an Eccentric and Serena from Savvy Verse & Wit. Again I had many good intentions and time got away on me and I didn’t get as many books as I would have liked read for this challenge.

I only managed to read 3 books although they were all very good:

My intentions were to read 9 books. My favorite was Sarah’s Key although I really like reading anything on Anne Frank. Thanks ladies for a great challenge! I wish I had done better.

This year you will probably read a lot of WWII books. That's the way it seems to go.Night of Flames was one of my favorite WWII books.

I hope to get to Sarah's Key this next year. My problem with challenges is that they all sound so good and then I go crazy signing up for them. I'm just not that fast of a reader to keep up.

We're glad you participated and gave it a shot! You've had a lot on your plate lately, and real life comes first. Hope you'll join us for the Vietnam challenge in 2010.

Anna & Serena, I'm not sure I should join the Vietnam challenge in case I do as bad a job as this time. I'll check it out though – what can one more challenge hurt. lol.
