Waiting On Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we’re eagerly anticipating.
My pick this week is The Map of True Places by Brunonia Barry releasing May 4, 2010 by William Morrow. I read and loved The Lace Reader so I’m looking forward to reading her newest novel! I don’t have a description for you but you can visit Brunonia Barry’s website and read the prologue to get a little taste of the novel!

I did enjoy The Lace Reader, so I would definitely be interested to read this one too. Thanks for letting us know it is coming out soon.

Can't wait to learn more about this one! I did go to the website (love the new cover for The Lace Reader!) but pdf jams my pc … can you give us a hint? Do any of the characters from TLR carry over into The Map of True Places?????
I didn't like the Lace Reader, but maybe I'll check this one out. I believe in second chances:)
I'm looking forward to this one too. My book group read The Lace Reader last year and I know they will be excited (at least some of them) about a new book coming out. Not every member liked The Lace Reader but we had a good discussion.

This one's already on my list. Can't wait.
I got an un-copy edited proof of The Map of True Places at the American Library Association conference in Boston in January and it is SUCH an amazing book. It's definitely worth waiting for!

I liked The Lace Reader, but didn't love it! Will be reading this one too though. Love the cover on it.
