And to top this evening off I’ve got 3 copies of The Host by Stephenie Meyer up for grabs courtesy of Valerie at Hachette Book Group. I read The Host probably about a year and a half ago. I enjoyed it although the Twilight books are still my favorite. Now here’s your chance to win your own copy. Here’s a bit about the book…

About the Author
Stephenie Meyer graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in English literature. She is the author of the bestselling Twilight Saga. She lives in Arizona with her husband and three young sons. This is her first novel for adults.
I think The Host would make a terrific book club pick. There is a lot to talk about in The Host when you look at a humans being taken over by some species that take over complete control of your body and mind. The Wanderer who takes over Melanie, while being one of these species, is different. She is thinking. Like I said I think people could find a lot to discuss here. I'd be really interested in reading it. No offense to Meyer, but The Host just sounds like it offers more integrity and depth than her Twilight series. It sounds like it actually talks about something important.
