Last year I reviewed a fantastic book called Sea Escape by Lynne Griffin (my review). I’m back with a book spotlight to celebrate the paperback release of Sea Escape tomorrow, June 7, 2011. Is that not a fantastic cover? I love it! It’s very much a story of mother/daughter relationships and I always love those. It’s always a testament to a good book when you can still vividly remember the story a year later. Sea Escape would be a wonderful way to pass the time while you’re lounging on that beach enjoying a nice cool drink!

About the Author (from Lynne Griffin’s website)
Lynne Griffin writes about family life. She is the author of the novels Sea Escape (Simon & Schuster, 2010) and Life Without Summer (St. Martin’s Press, 2009), and the nonfiction parenting title, Negotiation Generation: Take Back Your Parental Authority Without Punishment, (Penguin, 2007).
Lynne teaches family studies at the graduate level, and writing at Grub Street Writers in Boston. She appears regularly on Boston’s Fox Morning News talking about family life issues. Lynne writes for the blog, Family Life Stories.
