HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO SAMMY!
Awwwwwwwwwww, thanks Mom! Look at me, I’m a whole year old today!HAPPY BIRTHDAY SAMMY! Today is Sammy’s 1st birthday! Wow, I just can’t believe I’ve had him 9 months already and that he’s already a year old. The time just goes way too fast. He didn’t have a very good birthday present this morning though. He came running out of the house and went to jump off the side step and caught his leg I think and fell and scraped his chin really good on the cement. Poor little guy! He did a good job on it but his teeth look ok so that’s all that matters. His chin will heal. I still haven’t had a chance to see if he loosened any of his front teeth but I don’t think he did. I’ll be popping into the vets tomorrow to get his nails clipped so they can peek then. You know he’s just like a baby though, he falls and hurts himself and wants mommy. Of course I picked him up and coddled him and then put him down for his business and he just wanted right back up. Too cute!
On the reading front I’m going to try to finish up To the Moon and Back by Jill Mansell today. Another great read from Jill! I haven’t been disappointed in any of her books that I’ve read and I wish I had time to just read every one of hers start to finish. Other than that I have The Homecoming of Samuel Lake by Jenny Wingfield for review on Friday. Hopefully this week the blog will be transferred over to my new site and I’m really excited! I hope everyone will like it because I really do. So, other than those two book reviews it’ll be quiet here on Peeking Between the Pages.

Now, since it’s Sammy’s birthday he thought he’d leave you with a picture of what he plans to do all day. Sammy and I also want to send out a special hug to Staci today for her loss this past week. Lots of love to you my friend. Hope you all have a fantastic week and get lots and lots of reading done!
Ahhhhh, what could be better than just relaxing on my pillows and enjoying my birthday. Treats, of course! Mommy’s coddling me today cause I got a boo boo so I’m really going to have to work it and get extra treats today!
